Airway EQ provides daily support for respiratory function, containing comprehensive ingredient support for healthy soft tissue throughout the respiratory tract and helps promote a natural immune response to seasonal allergies.

Horses challenged with respiratory deficiencies may benefit from the addition of ingredients such as MSM, Spirulina, Hawthorne, Grape Seed Extract, N- Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC), Vitamins A and K to support a natural inflammatory response, respiratory health and immune function. Managing allergies and EIPH requires daily actions to help strengthen the airways and make breathing easier. The easier it is for a horse to breathe, the less strain there is on the lungs.

MSM: (Methylsulfonylmethane) Assists body to produce its own internal antioxidants which helps support natural inflammatory response by providing protection against oxidative stress. It is a great source of sulfur, which plays an important role in maintaining the health of collagen, cartilage, hooves, hair and joint fluid.

Spirulina: A powerful antioxidant that helps support the immune system and plays a significant role in supporting a natural inflammatory response. Has been shown to help support concerns associated with inflammation of the nasal passage triggered by allergens.

Citrus Bioflavonoids:  Heseperidin, rutin, naringin, quercetin, all bioflavanoids important for soft tissue health and maintaining normal blood pressure, which aids in overall lung health. Helps support immune system health and capillary strength.

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) is an antioxidant that plays a role in helping combat harmful free radicals. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps protect the tissues of the body and also important in the production of connective tissues like tendons and ligaments.

Hawthorne: helps support healthy blood vessel and capillary function.

Grape Seed Extract (GSE) is rich in antioxidants to help support a healthy inflammatory response and cardiovascular health. It appears that the antioxidants in grape seed extract work cooperatively with Vitamin E to help neutralize free radicals.

N-Acetyl L-Cysteine:  NAC helps replenish glutathione levels, supporting a healthy inflammatory response in lung and bronchial tissue. 

Vitamin K: supports vascular health, healthy bones, cognitive function, immune system and respiratory health.

Vitamin A is well known for its role in supporting healthy vision, immune function, and skin/coat. However, it is also needed for respiratory health, reproduction, soft tissue and normal skeletal development in young growing horses and exercising horses that are remodeling bone.

Probiotics are live microorganisms (bacteria and yeast) that help promote healthy digestive function and support a healthy immune system. Often referred to as ‘good bugs’ they help break down ingredients/contents that the body normally can't, and help inhibit ‘bad bugs’ from growing.

Is this okay for a pregnant mare?

MVP: The safe use of this supplement in pregnant or lactating mares has not been specifically tested. We always recommend seeking your veterinarian’s advice before adding any new supplements or making changes to your mare’s diet.

    I started my mare on this because in winter months she gets such a snotty nose and would cough. After starting her on this she hasn’t been coughing at all and she hasn’t had a snotty nose anymore! This is a game changer for my mare!!!

    After receiving a report summarizing high allergen levels on one of our performance geldings we knew AirWay EQ was the way to go. Knowing he is now receiving immune support aiding him from the inside out, making him more comfortable and able to combat allergens, has made him an over all happier horse.

    This is my favorite product when allergies hit the barn hard and for my mare who has always has respiratory issues. Since starting this product my mares quality of life has improved over all. She has been recovery and output during runs and exercise. Her cough has disappeared and shes able to breath so much better. I 100% stand behind their products.

    I starting using this product when my mare starting getting hives. I did allergy testing and changed a few things, adding MVP Air-Way EQ being one of the changes. This product supports allergy and immune response plus lung support, which I feel every barrel horse can use. I can’t tell you the last time she had hives, plus she recovers faster after a run!
